This article starts with an example of a college doing all it can to help graduating seniors find a job. Afterwards, it focuses on tangible actions a graduating senior must make to land a job. I would add this message to graduating seniors: don’t rely on your college to find a job for you. Use your school’s help, but you must take action.
Don’t sit around waiting for your school or some employer to say “here’s a high paying job for you.” It doesn’t work that way. If you do nothing you will see nothing in return. If you follow the practical steps in the Forbes article you will see a return. Maybe not when you want or the dollar number you want, but greater than the zero you will certainly see if doing nothing.
