I routinely encourage students to remain aware of the role of computers (robots, artificial intelligence software, etc.) in their career paths. This is an interesting summary of trends that I also heard during recent conferences and from former students now in the workplace. Again, either you get comfortable building, maintaining, and using these tools or your job will be replaced by them. Quotes from the article:
