  1. Sadly most parents intervene in any adversity or even decision making while the child is maturing. The child learns absolutely no decision making skills, no life skills and no coping skills.
    The concept of how coal is transformed into a diamond is lost on the parents of these youth that are now young adults. (It is the reason other cultures are out pacing us).
    Life skills, coping skills and general mental stamina are essential for success.
    Straight A’s don’t help if you are always in an emotional crisis.
